There are plenty of things that you can do to reduce the amount of waste that you put out for collection and which goes to landfill.

With landfill sites filling up rapidly, it is really important that everyone plays their part in reducing the amount of waste they create. This section gives you some tips on how to reduce and reuse your waste.

We have launched a new advertising campaign: A relationship for life, which uses the 'lonely hearts' theme to remind people to reuse shopping bags and clothes, and to compost their garden waste. The campaign includes posters and a television advert.
